A Great Start To Donyngs Players Nationals Campaigns

George Hopper has lead from the front in the Nationals with a comprehensive 21 - 7 win against James McNulty (Horsham) in the Preliminary Round of the Mens Singles, played at Donyngs last night (08/10/25). His next opponent is the winner of Alfie Simmons v James Loader (Both Horsham) in Round 1. George is the Challenger so becomes the Home player. Look out for Date and Time

Scheduled for Wednesday 15th October is the local derby National Mens Singles between Wayne Thornton and Mike Vergien (Both Donyngs). Come along and see these two lock horns. Into Round 1 with Byes are Darren Rosser, John Harwood, Andrew Orme, Dave Hall, and Ted Ray. Dates and times will be published when finalised.

This Sunday, 12th October 10am at Donyngs Elaine Fawcett and Ted Ray begin their campaign in the National Mixed Pairs against a strong pair from Wey Valley, Carolyne Stevens and Partner.. Come along and support them and why not have Lunch and Wine after in our Restuarant.
