Race Night a Winning Social Event at Donyngs

Donyngs IBC, under the stewardship of BetBernard, our own “Honest” Bernie China, recently hosted a highly enjoyable Race Night, which proved to be a great success and well supported by members and guests. The evening was filled with fun, friendly competition and a lively social atmosphere throughout and raised a tidy sum for the evenings designated charity – St Catherines Hospice.

Although “fortunes” were won and lost, the races generated plenty of excitement and laughter, encouraging participation from everyone, regardless of previous experience. The well-organised format ensured the evening ran smoothly and kept interest high from start to finish.

Members enjoyed the opportunity to socialise between races, with refreshments supplied by our caterers, Roci Catering, adding to the relaxed and welcoming environment. The event was a credit to the organisers and volunteers who manned the Tote and Payout Box, whose efforts played a key role in its success.

Overall, the Race Night was an excellent social occasion for Donyngs and a fantastic example of the strong community spirit within the club. We look forward to hosting similar events in the future.
