Celebration for Arthur's 100th Birthday

Tuesday 14th April was a special day for members at Donyngs where we were able to celebrate a truly unique event. Long time member Arthur Shore celebrated his 100th Birthday in the company of over 60 members who came to the club to help him cut the cake!

Arthur still bowls regularly in internal leagues and is a credit to how bowling keeps you fit and active .

How many sports clubs can boast they have an active junior section with 8 yrs olds through to our  wonderful senior of 100 years and all can play alongside each other?
