The Leatherhead Swans is delighted is to celebrate a significant milestone event : A decade of our annual bowls disability event, delivered in proud partnership with Donyngs Indoor Bowls Club. This occasion highlights the outstanding talent, determination and sportsmanship of players with learning difficulties as they step onto the rinks to compete against Donyngs' club members. As a coach seeing their confidence and talent grow each year has been truley inspiring, and is a privilage to support them on their journey.

Festivities began at 2.30pm with two hours of fantastic bowling which set the tone for a memrable afternoon. The energy was electric, the competition fierce yet friendly with scores accross all rinks impressivley close, a testament to the passion and progress of every participent.

Our heartfelt thanks goes to the Umpire who volunteered his expertise elevating the standard of play and adding to the sense of occasion. The smiles, laughter and sheer joy on everyones faces said it all, this was a celebration of ability, community and shared achievement.

The afteroon continued with a buffet, trophy presentation and closing speeches. On behalf of Leatherhead Swans a hugh heartelt thanks to every member who gave their ttime, enthusiasim and spirit to make this event what it is. Our gratitude extends to the officials at Dongyngs for once again opening their doors to us and for their tremendous work behind the scenes to make sure the event runs so seamlessly.
