Donyngs Pair Runners Up in Five Lakes Competition

Bowls International this week reported on a Pairs competition run at Potter Five Lakes in Essex where 18 teams went head to head. We are delighted to report that the Donyngs husband and wife team Norma and Alan Goldsworthy came runners up to a Sutton IBC pairing.

The final was a tense affair with Alan & Norma getting off to a great 7-0 start however the Sutton pair of David Snowden and Lesley Flint eased their wayback  end by end to a win 8-7.
