Roci sponsored Wednesday evening pairs league

As you may know, the club has been trialling a new pairs league on Wednesdays from 7pm.  The caterers have very kindly sponsored the league and they will remain open until 6.45 on those days the league takes place.  Please feel free to use the restaurant at these times, even if you will not be playing in the league.

The league was established to provide competitive bowls and hopefully improve the standard of play of the participants.  There are currently 20 players in the league but there is room for 4 more, so if you are interested in joining you would need to challenge an existing member and beat them.  This ensures that the high standard of play is maintained.  Challenge matches start from December 18th but requests to challenge can be made now.  There are 2 more playing dates before Christmas - the 11th & 18th - and the current league finishes on January 22nd, starting afresh on the 29th.
