The Club Finals were held on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 April. Spectators witnessed an outstanding level of bowls, with gripping matches going to the final end. The winners of the internal competitions can be seen on our honours boards. We congratulate all the winners, and thank all the competitors for making it a thoroughly entertaining weekend.

On Sat 12th March, 15 Donyngs Juniors represented the club in the Surrey round of the National EBYDS competition at Egham.
The competition has 2 parts a Round Robin and a Skills section.
In the Under15 round robin competition 6 competed and George and Ava both got through to the Semi Finals.
In the Under 18 round robin competition 9 competed and Ryan, Jack, Andrew and Ellysia got through to the Semis with Andrew and Ellysia getting through to the Final where Ellysia won in a very close game.
In the Skills section all Donyngs players did well and Andrew came away with the Surrey shield for the best senior performance.
George had the highest skills points in the Junior section.
We wait to hear now who goes through to the Regional Competition to be held at Horsham on Sunday April 17th. Qualification for this depends on how well the young players from Kent, Sussex and Hants have done. Keep your fingers crossed!!
You may remember that in 2015 James, representing Donyngs, won at Regional level and went on to become National Champion for the skills.
